The rules of the cut
Revised 27 October 2026. What you agree to when you use teasing-media.com or book a teaser from Teasing Media.
Why the site exists
teasing-media.com is the shop window of Teasing Media, a teaser-trailer studio working from Brighton, East Sussex, England. It lists the packages, publishes their prices and carries the booking page. By browsing it you accept the rules set out below.
A booking is a first approach
Sending us the booking page creates no obligation on either side. The agreement begins only at the moment you approve a beat sheet from us and settle the deposit through the payment link we send. From that point the package as described on the launch-teasers page, and the stage-by-stage rules on the cancellations and refunds page, are part of what we have agreed. Every price on the site is in pounds sterling and covers the whole package.
The material you hand over
By sending footage, artwork, screen captures, fonts, music or recorded voice, you are telling us you own it or have clearance to have it edited into a teaser. We touch it for your teaser and nothing else. When the balance is settled, the finished cut belongs to you to use as widely as you like; the one exception is the music bed, which stays under the library terms explained on the music and motion type page.
Fair use of the site
Do not attack or overload the site, push harmful files through the booking page, or use that page for anything but a real booking or question. Entries of that kind may be discarded without reply.
Who owns what here
The words, layout, drawings and icons on teasing-media.com are the studio's own work. The photographs appear under the free licences listed further down. Link to any page you like; just do not lift the content to sell or promote something of your own.
Where our responsibility stops
We work to keep every page correct, yet the site comes as it stands, without promises about uptime or accuracy. The studio carries no responsibility for knock-on or indirect losses linked to using it, and for any single booking the most it can owe you is what you paid for that booking. Responsibility that English law does not allow anyone to exclude stays untouched, as do the rights you hold as a consumer.
Which law applies
The law of England and Wales governs these rules, and any dispute about them is for the courts of England and Wales to decide.
Updates
These rules can be re-cut from time to time; the revision date under the heading always marks the current version. Anything unclear: [email protected]. Personal details are covered on the privacy page.
